Background
TRM Labs are a Series B blockchain intelligence platform that helps financial institutions, cryptocurrency businesses, government agencies and law enforcement detect and investigate crypto-related financial crime.
Having engaged a “specialist” defence, intelligence and security cleared recruiter 8 weeks prior, TRM Labs felt they were not seeing the quality of talent needed to further establish their footprint within areas of National Security.

Within the Public Sector TRM Labs sell to highly sensitive and confidential areas of Government. The mission was to locate an individual who had a track record of success within a scale up, PLUS an existing contact network and all the necessary Security Clearances to be able to sell into areas of National Security, NATO and the key Intelligence Agencies.
That’s an extremely small talent pool who are very difficult to identify and engage – the literal needle in a haystack.

From a short “longlist” of 27 candidates Iperium engaged, interviewed, vetted and presented a shortlist of 4 candidates within 3 days from the launch call.

From a shortlist of four candidates within 3 days, TRM Labs hired an exceptional founding NatSec Regional Sales leader who had built from scratch to double digit millions with the National Security Agencies in his previous SaaS vendor.
Compelled by the TRM solution plus the opportunity to make a genuine difference not only within a Series B vendor, but areas of crime and national security. The Regional Sales leader is already taking the TRM message to security analysts helping them prevent organised crime through crypto funding.
